Pokemon the First Movie:Mewtwo Strikes Back
|
The Pokemon Movie just came out and I was the first one in line to see it. Pikachu's summer vacation the short flick before the movie was not that good but it did show two new Pokemon characters on the cartoon which were Maril(pikablu),and snuggles(Bruno)Mewtwo Strikes Back was o.k. but there wasn't much action because Mewtwo blocked of all of the Pokemon's special powers which made a whole bunch of Pokemon fighting hand to hand which was really boring.Mewtwo strikes back also had a new Pokemon in it which was Donfan an elephant Pokemon which was defeated by Bulbasaur's Solarbeam attack. When you go to see the movie they give you a free promotional card which are pretty good because I got all of them and know what they do.
Check later on for more stuff.

Fossil
|
I'd like to use this time to talk a little bit about the new expansion set of Fossil from Wizards of the Coast. The cards in fossil's attack's may not be all that powerful, but the side effects of those attacks are really cool.Muk,one of the cards who has just came out,can stop Pokemon powers from working which can be real helpful when your going up against someone who depends on his Pokemon power like Mr.Mime or Alakazam. Then there is Aerodactyl who can stop any evolvations which is good for decks which rely on second stage Pokemon. There is Moltres a Pokemon who can drain your opponents deck in to nothing with wildfire.
